Got into scooters in 76 77, an older mate of mine had one
and started taking me around on it (maybe to the pub and
back,16 thats disgusting). Then after bugging my dad for
months finally got one around jan feb 78 for my 18th, and
my birthday int while oct,who cared.Probably my first rally,an
overnight stop rally, would have been Scarbrough easter
79. Slept under park benches and woke up to an inch of snow.
Good fun.

01262 490022 ,www.ddickinsonairbrushing.com great artist
,great guy.I gave him a book of pictures from Dawns creator,
told him which ones i wanted and said i did not want the
bike 1 colour and left him to it. He actually started it
and on reading the book more, noticed that the artist used
acrylics in his work. So he rubbed it back down and started
again in the same medium.Top man , dedicated to his art.
The idea for the bike came from a set of comics by a New
York artist,Joseph Micheal Linsner ,www.Linsner.com.(i asked
him if it was ok,copywrite an all that).Dawn is the Goddess
of birth and rebirth, lover of Cernunnos,Death, the horned
god.Death showed Dawn heaven and hell, and what she saw made
her cry. Then it gets complicated, you'll have to read the
comics:-).
The engine is a Malossied T5 with a SIP wide wheel on ,
still have not got round to putting the original 200 block
back in ,maybe one day. The forks are twisted and extended
2inch, stand is twisted and extended. The backrest and mirror
stems were done by Gary Simpson Scooter Fabrications. The
rose represents hell, the chains, heaven.
"for order to work there must be laws. If those laws
are not binding in heaven, chaos will flourish.
Heaven is discipline. Hell is anarchy, and anarchy has thorns.Law
and order anchors you,it
grounds you. If you break those chains your life is cast
adrift"
