WARNING!
E-BAY SCAM
ISANET are asking you to keep on your guard over an E-BAY scam
that people are warning others to take off, this particular scam
usually involves one particular women who goes by the name of
"Julie" she sends you a fake E-BAY message usually informing
you that an un-paid item needs urgent attention, this is nothing
more than a scam, how this works is that "Julie" asks
you to send money for an item that you have supposedly bid on
and won, and needs paying for or she will report you to E-BAY,
supposedly threatening you that your account can be suspended,
this is where some people have been caught out.
Our advice to anyone receiving this scam is not to reply to it,
and in fact contact E-BAY yourself informing them that you have
received said E-MAIL, remember you can only have bid on something
that you have bid on! And surely you would know that, so take
care when receiving bogus E-MAILS asking you to pay for something
that you have not bid on in the first place! Remember the world
is full of rip off artists, and that they will gladly take your
cash if you are not careful!
