Hi Isanet

I thought id give you another update on the latest cash till to emerge, this time its from the Essex Police, its a flying cash till that is the brain wave of some two wheeled hating Beaurocrat that is intent on making more cash from motorcyclists and Scooterists alike in the Essex region of the country.

The Helicopter can lock onto a speeding motorcycle or scooter and can detect its speed, therefore the unsuspecting culprit will only know about his/her offence when they receive a fixed penalty and fine thorough the post, i know a lot of do gooders will state that if you are caught speeding you deserve the penalty and fine that goes with the offence, and quite right you would be in thinking that, but are the Essex Police going to put up speed signs stating that there is a flying cash till operating in that area, you see all speed cameras have to be Visible to the Motorist/Motorcyclist/Scooterist of their presence in that area and have to be Visibly Marked, now tell me who doesn't slow down when they see either a sign stating speed cameras or see a mobile speed camera parked up along side the road, well can you just imagine the amount of people taking their eyes of the road whilst riding and looking up to the skies looking out for the flying cash till, what's going to happen, ACCIDENT!!

Come on, there has to be better ways of raising cash other than coming up with a hare brain scheme that will probably result in ACCIDENTS occurring due to the presence of the Helicopter in the first place, what next speed cameras hidden in bushes by the road side, its just another way of the government raising revenue out of everyone using the nations roads.

A NEW GENERATION OF SPEED CAMERAS

If it wasnt bad enough already for speed cameras on the UKs roads, this
batch of new cash tills will make you think twice when travelling, the new
proposed cameras that are set to be approved in january are set to take over from the exsisting Gatsos that are already raking in the pennies.

The old style gatso speed cameras measures your speed in metres, these new style high tech speed cameras measure your speed from two fixed points that could be several miles apart, so when you have passed the markings that are usually placed with the gatso and you think it is safe to excellerate your speed, think again! these cameras can still track and estimate your speed even if you are several miles away.

These new high tech cash tills will be placed to enforce the speed limits
over huge stretches of roads and motorways including residential areas, so
there, you have been warned! think twice before excellerating away from the
cameras after you have passed them, they can still get you and your wallet
and most of all your licence.

Hi isanet

I thought this might be of use to you and thousands of scooter riders throughout the UK, its regarding the UK`s police forces using under handed tactics in catching out speeders who use the UK`s net work of roads through out this once glorious nation of ours, what I am referring to is some of the police forces are using sneaky decoys as speed enforcement cash tills, if you look at the pictures that ive sent you, you will notice that in Wales, the police force is using a horse box towed to the back of a 4x4, nothing wrong in that I hear you say, well take a closer look, and you will notice that neither the horse box or the 4x4 is marked in the usual "jam butty" livery, sneaky or what! Kerr ching.

Also in derbyshire the police force there are using an unmarked van disguised as a builders van parked up in lay by's etc, so if you are like me, you will obviously be on the look out for marked cash tills sitting by the road side, and not the unsuspecting builders vans or horse boxes that are there to take your cash and give you in return the special merits that will grace your licence, take note all is not what it seems! I thought a bill was passed by government decreeing that all speed cash tills were to be marked, so therefore warning drivers/riders of their presence, just goes to show you that if they can do that what else next, maybe speed cash tills disguised as ice cream vans?

Maybe you guys can see if there is anymore of these speed cash tills that are out there, perhaps ask people through your magazine that if they know of any others to send it into you guys!
