The
club was started in late 1998 by a group of friends with links
back to school days some had been in clubs and on the scene
since then and had
become disillusioned with other peoples clubs and their cliques
and the number ones type system, the others had always had an
interest in scooters and owned them but never been involved
with the scene and decided to get involved. The original plan
was to keep it small and only have friends in
the club but that changed when we started meeting people who
were 'our kind of people' so now we have a healthy 30 plus members
we all get on fine
and have good times at rallys and do's and private partys, basically
there are no rules in our club so we get together when we can
and have fun.
Our
day started with an early morning ride to Carnaby street for
a cup of coffee that amazingly cost more than a pint in my local,
thats London for ya! There was no massive rideout but enough
scooters to turn faces and get abuse from white van man,
In true club style we rode for about 6 minutes then stopped
for a fag break, another 6 minutes then petrol and fag break,
then a break i could have done without.
Bens stand broke resulting in a dent in my scoot and the indicater
ive just got working smashed but hey crap happens!
Back in Feltham we had use of the local Railway club for the
day and evening, daytime entertainment was provided by Robbie
the dog and his sound system in the garden.
Melvin and Sue cooking the burgers and hotdogs on the BBQ, Carlys
party games including pin the fred perry on the skinhead, pour
half a yard of lager over your boobs (Sharon) etc.
Before long the day turned to evening and into the main room
for Gills sound system with Gill and Marcus keeping us entertained
and a well prized raffle.
A massive thankyou to all who supported us and enabled us to
hold this event for free and we look forward to seeing you all
on the rallies soon!
